Each of these retirees has left a lasting impact on our schools, our community, and most importantly, our students. Their commitment to education and the values they brought to their work have helped shape the future, one student at a time.

Big cheers to the Penrose Elementary kitchen crew! On the last day of school, they ditched the lunch line and hit the grill at Penrose Park. The served up sizzling hamburgers and good vibes for all the kids at Field Day.
Flipping patties and fielding fun, these lunchtime legends turned into Field Day heroes.

Today we’re giving a HUGE shoutout to the amazing Nutrition Team at Fremont RE-2! These everyday heroes don’t wear capes (well, not usually 😄), but they do serve up smiles, healthy meals, and lots of love to our students every single day. 🥗🍕💚
Whether it's dishing out breakfasts before the first bell or making sure every student gets a warm lunch, they do it all with heart. THANK YOU for keeping our kids nourished and thriving — you truly are the heroes of the cafeteria!
