Due to the federal government shutdown, SNAP benefits for November may be delayed. School meals are still available. If you need additional food before your SNAP benefits are available, there are local resources that can help:
-FREE breakfast and FREE Lunch is available to all students on school days
-We have a weekend Food Back Pack program at PES and FES (contact the school for info)
-Florence JrSr High School has a food pantry for students
-Colorado 211: Dial 2-1-1 or (866)760-6489 or visit www.211colorado.org
-Feeding Colorado Resources as www.feedingcolorado.org/find-food or email info@feedingcolorado.org
-Hunger Free Colorado Food Resource Hotline: 855-855-4626
Those able to help are encouraged to donate to local food banks. While canned goods are welcomed, financial donations go further — every dollar helps food banks purchase and distribute more meals statewide. Donations can be made at feedingcolorado.org/donate
In recognition of this outstanding achievement, Dr. William Wilson, Superintendent, Andy Brooks, Director of Facilities and Maintenance, and Matt Gifford, Construction Technology Instructor, were invited to stand alongside Greg Collier, iiCON Construction Co-Founder and President, and his team to accept this prestigious award.
We are incredibly proud of this collaboration and the successful outcome of our Bond Projects, bringing lasting benefits to our schools and community. 💙 #FremontRE2 #ExcellenceInEducation #BondProjects #iiCONConstruction #WeAreOne

October 20–24, 2025
This week, we’re taking time to remind everyone about the importance of keeping our students safe on and around the school bus. Let’s all do our part to support our Fremont RE-2 Bus Drivers and help keep every child safe.
Community:
🚦 Stop for flashing lights and stop arms.
🚫 Never pass a stopped school bus.
Students:
👦👧 Wait for the bus to stop completely before approaching.
🪑 Stay seated while the bus is moving.
Families:
🚗 Review bus stop safety rules with your child.
A heartfelt thank you to the Fremont RE-2 Transportation Department for your dedication to our students’ safety. Our bus drivers work hard to make sure every child gets to school and home safely each day.
Together, we can help ensure every ride to and from school is a safe one for all students.💛
