At Fremont RE-2, small actions can make a big difference!
Our 212 initiative is all about celebrating those “extra degrees." The little things our staff do every day that go above and beyond. Since the start of the school year (August–January), staff have recognized each other over 630 times, sharing moments of appreciation that inspire and uplift.
When we take the time to notice and celebrate these efforts, it strengthens our staff, supports our students, and makes our entire community stronger. One extra degree of effort, one thoughtful recognition, can truly change everything.
Each month, some staff are drawn to receive 212 pins as a reminder that their dedication doesn’t go unnoticed. Every recognition, every pin, and every “extra degree” contributes to the positive, caring culture we’re proud to share with our students and families.
Here’s to celebrating the little things that make a big difference. Together, we are one! 💛

Black Hills Energy has issued an Emergency Public Shutoff Watch, which means conditions are being monitored but NO shutoff has been implemented. As of now, we are proceeding with school as usual tomorrow.

Yesterday, Fremont Jr./Sr. High School hosted our Third Annual CTE Fair, welcoming students in grades 6–12 to explore a wide range of career and technical education opportunities.
We were fortunate to have an outstanding variety of vendors representing many career pathways, including the Department of Wildlife, colleges and universities, ROTC, nursing programs, Paul Mitchell, Nunn Construction, Colorado Shed Company, Pueblo Fire Department, the Department of Corrections, the Army National Guard, Amrize, and many more.
Students had the opportunity to engage directly with professionals, ask questions, and learn about real-world career options. Thank you to our vendors and staff for making this event such a valuable experience for our students!

✨ New this year: Online courses are now available for students in grades 9–12, offering even more flexibility for families who prefer or need a virtual learning option.
This program allows students to learn, explore interests, and connect with peers, all while continuing their homeschool journey with the support of our local school district.
