Aspen Acres Fire – Disaster Assistance Resources
As we continue to follow updates regarding the Aspen Acres Fire, our hearts are with all of our neighbors, families, students, staff, and community members impacted by this devastating event.
Fremont RE-2 would also like to recognize and thank the first responders, emergency personnel, volunteers, and community partners who are working tirelessly to keep people safe and provide support.
Our main focus right now is helping ensure families impacted by the fire are safe and connected to the resources available to them.
An important resource now available is the Disaster Assistance Center.
Disaster Assistance Center
The Disaster Assistance Center is open for evacuees and residents impacted by the Aspen Acres Fire in Custer and Pueblo counties. Services may include case management, direct assistance, mental health and support services, relief supplies, food, basic needs, cleanup resources, and local resource navigation.

Friday, July 3: 11:00 a.m.–7:00 p.m.
Saturday, July 4: 8:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m.
Sunday, July 5: Closed
Monday, July 6: 1:00–5:00 p.m.
