Returning Fremont RE-2 families!

The 2021-2022 school year is approaching fast and we know that family contact information (phone number and email) may have changed over the break. If you have had a change in your contact information, please log into your Parent Portal account and update. In the event of an emergency is it important for school personnel to have accurate and up to date information to contact parents and guardians. If you have had a change of address, we ask that you complete the Household Information Update Form that can be found on the district website under Forms ( and turn into your school office. Please be aware that if your child has moved out of the Fremont RE-2 boundary, you will be required to fill out and submit a boundary waiver to the district for approval. If you need assistance logging into your Parent Portal account, please contact the District Registrar at 719-784-2552 or your school's office staff.

2021-2022 Proposed Budget

Board of Education Notice of Proposed School Budget Notice is hereby given that a proposed budget has been submitted to the Board of Education of Fremont RE-2 School District for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2021, and has been filed in the District Administration Office where it is available for public inspection at the Fremont Re-2 School Administration Office, 403 W. 5th Street, Florence, Colorado from the business hours of 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The budget is also available for inspection on the district website at Such budget will be considered for adoption at the regular meeting of the Board of Education of said district on June 14, 2021 at 6:00 p.m. in the T&I Building located at 403 W. 5th Street, Florence, Colorado. Comments regarding the budget will be received during a public hearing of the Board of Education of said district on May 19, 2021, at 6:00 p.m. at the T&I Building located at 403 W. 5th Street, Florence, Colorado. Public comments will be accepted electronically. Any person paying school taxes in said district may at any time prior to the final adoption of the budget file or register his/her objections thereto. Transportation Change

Fremont RE2 is instituting a new procedural transportation change for the safety of all students. Effective immediately, students in grades 6 through 12 will only be permitted to ride their assigned bus. Grades 6 through 12 who need to change their bus will need to call the Transportation Department at 719-784-6712.
